MyShelter Foundation is inviting everyone to participate in this worthy cause. The foundation accepts clear plastic soda bottles but they are more interested in soliciting free labor for the assembly of these solar bottles. It's not that hard, really. See the procedure in the image below:

I was informed that the plastic bottle caps get easily broken after prolonged exposure to the sun. Thus, they remind installers to cover the bottle cap with plastic sealant or water piping of about an inch and quarter then sealing it above the cap. I hope you get the picture.
MyShelter Foundation is also looking for sponsors to finance the fabrication of thousands of GI sheets that they are going to distribute to schools where students can assemble the solar water bulbs for free. Their office in Pasay City is also open to receive volunteers who can help them bring the project to different provinces and cities nationwide.
